The COVID-19 pandemic revealed and/or exacerbated a number of shortcomings and inequalities as they exist in our system of coverage in the US. This panel will explore how the pandemic can or should catalyze lasting change in how Americans receive health coverage.

Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations in particular have been using creative approaches and leveraging technology to address social needs and provide whole person healthcare. This panel will explore current models and tools designed to improve providers’ abilities to address health-related social needs within their communities.
