Robin Hicks, MPH, Senior Consultant brings over 10 years of experience in project management, quality improvement, coaching, and advancing health equity initiatives. Throughout her career, she has designed and implemented healthcare transformation strategies to achieve large-scale change while creating inclusive spaces for learning and collaboration. Prior to her work with Day Health Strategies, Robin spent five years at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement where she was responsible for managing the strategic and operational planning for several national healthcare improvement initiatives to advance health equity and improve patient safety. Most recently, she was responsible for the design of the Rise to Health Coalition, a national collaborative spanning researchers, payers, and providers to improve health equity and reduce health disparities. Additionally, she served as a coach with the Pursuing Equity initiative within the Institute – a national collaborative of 50 healthcare leaders working to close gaps in patient experience by deepening their understanding of racial justice.
She holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Hamilton College. She completed a Certificate in Community Leadership & Social Change with the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
Robin resides in Boston with her family. In her spare time, you’ll find her baking and visiting local coffeeshops. In addition, she enjoys exploring historic properties, some of her favorite locations include Blithewold (RI) and Vizcaya (FL).
