Day Health Strategies’ mission is to transform the healthcare system to make it more equitable, patient-centered, affordable, and high-performing.
Our story
For over 10 years, Day Health Strategies (DHS) has provided experience-based, results-oriented consulting services to public and private-sector organizations that are focusing on strategic opportunities in healthcare. Our founder, Rosemarie Day, launched DHS in 2010 to focus on implementing national health reform. Having served as the founding Deputy Director & Chief Operating Officer for the award-winning Massachusetts Health Connector, she wanted to find ways to deliver that innovation to other states. Since starting the company, she’s grown the team and expanded our service offerings and client mix. She and our team have worked with numerous private sector, non-profit, and government organizations in developing, implementing and successfully executing their health reform and related strategies.
What we’ve done
We have helped many healthcare organizations in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. Here are some examples:
Our expertise
The DHS team possesses a broad and deep understanding of business, regulatory and clinical issues and is adept at developing and implementing strategy including strategic planning, organizational and operational design, performance management, data analysis and financial management.
We have worked extensively with leaders to help them understand external challenges and internal capabilities, and to take the necessary steps to improve organizational, operational, financial and administrative effectiveness. For example, we developed a proprietary organizational effectiveness model (MOSAIC™), which we have successfully applied at several healthcare organizations, and have experience developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans, as well as balanced scorecards. In addition, we have helped several organizations and departments develop strategic, operational and financial plans and facilitated the creation of performance measurements, targets, and review processes.
